Buyer Verification Centre for Critical Alloy Components

Use this verification guide to structure the evidence that procurement and quality teams commonly reconcile before accepting an alloy component package. It is a preparation tool, not a released certificate, a substitute for project acceptance criteria, or proof of compliance for a specific lot.

Evidence to reconcile

A better review starts by connecting each document to the actual component requirement.

Material certificate

Reconcile the stated grade, heat number, specification, test fields, and certificate type with the purchase and project requirement.

PMI and material identity

Define PMI scope, report expectation, component selection, and the relationship between the tested item, marking, and traceability record.

Dimensional inspection

Align the dimensional standard, drawing revision, tolerance, bore, facing, and inspection points before comparing a report.

Review quality scope

Marking and packing

Connect component marking, heat identity, quantity, face protection, packing list, and destination instructions before dispatch release.

Verification path

Four checks before an acceptance decision.

  1. 01

    Match the requirement

Start with the purchase order, approved drawing, material grade, product form, dimensions, inspection scope, and document list.

  2. 02

    Trace the material identity

Reconcile the heat number and grade across the certificate, report, marking, and the item or lot under review.

  3. 03

    Review the agreed evidence

Check whether the requested test, inspection, witness, and documentation scope has been addressed against the project requirement.

  4. 04

    Release against the authority

Use the purchaser's authorized acceptance process for any final release, deviation, or project-specific approval.

Project-specific release

The contract and authorized acceptance criteria remain decisive.

A document set is only meaningful when it is reconciled with the order, applicable specification, drawing revision, inspection plan, acceptance authority, and the actual item or lot. Escalate any missing record, mismatch, or deviation through the authorized project process before release.

Prepare a clearer enquiry

State the evidence you need with the component scope.

Include the material grade, product form, standard, size, testing, document list, destination, and any inspection authority in the RFQ.
