Alloy flanges and fittings

Incoloy 800, 800H & 800HT Flanges Manufacturer & Exporter

This commercial route keeps Incoloy 800, 800H, and 800HT flange requirements technically separate. Specify UNS N08800, N08810, or N08811, the ASTM B564 condition, design and operating temperature, flange form, dimensions, class, facing, bore, heat treatment, inspection, certification, quantity, and destination rather than ordering a generic 800-series flange.

Engineering discussion

Context before component selection.

One series name contains three purchasing identities

UNS N08800, N08810, and N08811 belong to the Incoloy 800 series but have distinct chemistry, heat-treatment, grain-size, and high-temperature design contexts. A quotation should never collapse the requested grade into the words 800 series without written technical confirmation.

Temperature regime affects which grade is considered

The current ASTM B564 scope distinguishes N08800 from N08810 and N08811 in its high-temperature discussion. Final selection still follows the governing code, allowable stresses, creep and rupture criteria, operating cycles, atmosphere, fabrication, and project specification.

The MTC must prove more than a family name

Review the exact UNS designation, chemistry, heat treatment, mechanical results, grain-size evidence where required, heat number, dimensions, marking, and supplementary tests. The release dossier should make it impossible to confuse 800, 800H, and 800HT line items.

Standards and release

Define the basis, then document it.

ASTM B564 / ASME SB564

Current B564 scope lists N08800, N08810, and N08811. The order must name the exact UNS grade and its required heat-treatment and acceptance condition.

Grade selection

800, 800H, and 800HT are not interchangeable labels. Temperature regime, creep or rupture design basis, chemistry controls, grain size, and project code requirements influence selection.

Flange dimensions

State ASME or drawing basis, form, NPS, class, facing, bore, gasket, bolting, and pressure-temperature design criteria independently of the alloy family name.

Buyer questions

Frequently asked questions.

Are Incoloy 800, 800H, and 800HT the same grade?

No. They have separate UNS designations and grade-specific chemistry, heat-treatment, and high-temperature design considerations that must be stated in the order.

Does ASTM B564 include all three 800-series UNS grades?

The current scope lists N08800, N08810, and N08811. Confirm the active edition and specify the exact grade and condition required.

Can the grade be selected from temperature alone?

No. Design code, stress basis, time at temperature, creep and rupture criteria, atmosphere, pressure, fabrication, and project rules also require review.

What should be checked on an 800-series flange MTC?

Check the exact UNS grade, chemistry, heat treatment, mechanical results, grain size where required, heat traceability, dimensions, marking, and ordered supplementary tests.
