RTI Engineering Knowledge Centre

The RTI engineering knowledge centre is built as a controlled industrial reference platform, not a blog feed. It explains flange and fitting standards, material-selection decisions, PMI, EN 10204 3.1, NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156, pipe schedule, NPS versus OD, traceability, and procurement implications while keeping final acceptance tied to project specifications, certificates, and engineering review.

Buyer FAQs

Clear answers for broad procurement questions.

What information should a flange or pipe fitting RFQ include?

A strong RFQ includes product form, material grade and UNS, dimensional standard, size, schedule or bore, pressure class, facing or end connection, quantity, testing, required documents, drawing reference, and destination.

Can a drawing-based or non-standard component be discussed?

Yes. Include the current drawing revision, material designation, dimensional requirements, standard references, inspection points, documentation requirements, quantity, and destination so the requirement can be reviewed clearly.

Which inspection and documentation requirements should be identified at RFQ stage?

State the requested MTC or EN 10204 certificate type, PMI, dimensional inspection, chemical or mechanical test evidence, NDT, IGC, NACE-related review, third-party inspection, marking, packing, and release-document requirements where applicable.

Knowledge should shorten the path to a clean RFQ.

The guide system connects material data pages, product pages, and the RFQ centre so buyers can move from standards review to a well-defined technical enquiry.

Knowledge to enquiry

Convert technical reading into better RFQ data

Guide pages and FAQs connect to the RFQ model so buyers can move from research to a structured enquiry.
