International supply basis

RTI does not state that it has a U.S. office, warehouse, stockyard, manufacturing facility or local stock position. Supply is coordinated internationally to the destination and commercial terms agreed in the quotation.

United States piping-component requirements span a wide range of operating and purchasing contexts, from Gulf Coast refining, petrochemical and LNG projects to data infrastructure, food processing, water systems, marine work and maintenance programs. A useful enquiry must therefore move beyond a broad country label. Procurement teams should state the final destination, governing piping class, material grade and UNS, component form, dimensions, pressure class or schedule, facing or end connection, quantity, testing, documentation and required delivery basis.

RTI supports these requirements through an international quotation and export-document route. No U.S. office, warehouse, manufacturing facility or local inventory is represented by this page. The commercial offer is prepared against the technical information supplied by the buyer and the agreed Incoterm and destination. Regional hubs provide more specific application context without changing the need for project-engineering approval of material selection, standard editions, inspection methods and acceptance criteria.

Flanges and pipe fittings

Specify the component form, dimensions and material together.

These genuine RTI product photographs identify the principal component families. The final quotation follows the buyer's approved material requisition, piping class and inspection scope.

Engineered Alloy Flanges

Flange enquiries may cover weld neck raised face, weld neck ring-type joint, slip-on raised face, blind, socket-weld, threaded, lap-joint, long weld neck, orifice and drawing-controlled forms. State NPS or DN, class, facing, bore or matching pipe schedule, dimensional standard and edition, quantity, material route and inspection scope.

Butt-Weld and Forged Pipe Fittings

Fitting enquiries may include elbows, equal or reducing tees, concentric or eccentric reducers, caps, stub ends and crosses, plus forged socket-weld or threaded couplings, unions, nipples and branch forms. Separate wrought and forged product routes and define schedule, wall, end preparation, class, material and examination requirements.

United States applications

Translate the operating context into an RFQ decision.

Each application introduces different material, dimensional, inspection or delivery questions. The city context helps organize the enquiry; it never replaces the approved project specification.

Gulf Coast energy and process

Refining, petrochemical, chemical, LNG, terminal, marine and offshore supply requirements concentrated along the Texas and Louisiana coast.

Water and environmental systems

Treatment, desalination, chemical dosing, industrial wastewater and cooling-water duties with service-specific corrosion review.

Manufacturing and infrastructure

Process utilities, advanced manufacturing, data infrastructure, fabrication and maintenance programs requiring controlled replacement components.

Marine and logistics

Ports, terminals, ship repair, transfer systems and export-project staging where packing, preservation and document control matter.

RTI product and inspection evidence

Review actual components, machining and dimensional control.

Genuine RTI photographs provide product and inspection context. They do not represent a local Texas facility, inventory position, project shipment or customer installation.

Inspection and release

Build quality evidence into the commercial basis.

Testing, inspection, documentation, marking and release requirements should be agreed before production or sourcing starts.

EN 10204 3.1 and heat traceability

Define the certificate basis, heat-number transfer, component marking and document-review sequence in the purchase order. The certificate, marking and supplied grade should form one controlled traceability record.

PMI and material verification

State whether PMI is required, the sampling extent, acceptance method and report format. Alloy identity checks do not replace the full chemical, mechanical and heat-treatment requirements of the material specification.

Dimensional and visual inspection

Identify reportable dimensions, tolerances, facing finish, bore, wall thickness, bevel, bolt-hole pattern, marking and visual acceptance criteria. Drawing-based components require an approved revision.

TPI, NACE and IGC controls

Third-party inspection, NACE-related requirements and intergranular-corrosion testing should be specified only where the project requires them, with the agency, hold points, method and acceptance criteria agreed before release.

United States procurement FAQ

Answers for engineering and purchasing teams.

How does RTI quote alloy components for a United States destination?

RTI prepares an international offer against the buyer's specification, inspection scope, packing instructions, Incoterm and named U.S. destination. No local inventory or U.S. facility is implied.

Which flange and fitting forms can be included in a U.S. enquiry?

The scope may include class-rated flanges, butt-weld fittings and forged socket-weld or threaded fittings, provided the RFQ identifies the exact dimensions, material route and acceptance requirements.

Can MTC, PMI and third-party inspection be specified?

Yes. State the EN 10204 certificate type, PMI extent, inspection agency, witness or hold points, report format and release sequence before quotation.

Should the RFQ include both material and dimensional standards?

Yes. The material specification controls grade and product form, while ASME dimensional standards control component geometry, class, schedule or end connection. Both are needed.

What U.S. delivery information should be supplied?

Provide the consignee, complete destination, Incoterm, requested delivery date, packing limits, import-document instructions and any site-receiving restrictions.

Will RTI select the alloy from an industry name alone?

No. Final selection remains with project engineering and should consider fluid chemistry, design conditions, corrosion, fabrication, code and approved piping class.
